Role: UX Co-Lead & Business Analyst Team Lead
Engagement: I worked on the September 11th Victim's Compensation Program for four years. First, I was a business analyst, leading an AGILE team through functional requirements and changes to the existing system. I worked hand in hand with the client leadership to deliver user-friendly changes throughout the release lifecycle from prioritization and analysis through to development, test, and production.
When the VCF was reauthorized as a permanent program, I moved into a UX Lead role helping a new AGILE team lay the groundwork for a Salesforce-based system. In this role I created a number of design artifacts including the VCF Design Guidelines, the VCF Design System/Standards, as-is personas, future-state personas, and a series of Salesforce specific design patterns. I also worked to educate the larger team on best UI/UX and AGILE practices.
