I create experiences.
I have 6 years of industry experience working with state, local, and federal government clients as an interactive designer. In this time, I have gained experience in user-driven system design and leading teams through every facet of the project life cycle on both waterfall and Agile teams. I have worked primarily in user experience design, user research, and business analysis/requirements gathering. I have a working knowledge of/experience in typography, brand standards, graphic layout, and color theory.
Prior to my industry experience, I worked with Penn State’s Applied Cognitive Science lab doing research in user experience and Human Computer Interaction. I have published one paper in the Proceedings of ICCM, 14th International Conference on Cognitive Modeling (ICCM 2016). I completed a B.S. in Information Science and Technology, Design and Development, as well as a minor in Security and Risk Analysis.
My process varies depending on the engagement. My skills range from business analysis and project management to complete graphic design.
"There's no real distinction between business strategy and the design of user experiences.
The last best experience that anyone has anywhere, becomes the minimum expectation for the experience they want everywhere."
